Bliss Broyard is the author of the bestselling story collection, My Father, Dancing, which was a New York Times Notable book, and the award-winning memoir, One Drop: My Father’s Hidden Life-A Story of Race and Family Secrets, which received the Louisiana Endowment for the Arts Humanist Book of the Year award and was a finalist for the Essence and Books for a Better Life awards. Her stories and essays have been anthologized in Best American Short Stories, The Pushcart Prize, Personals:Dreams and Nightmares from the Lives of 20 Young Writers, The Art of the Essay, Falling Backwards: Stories of Fathers and Daughters, and The Secret Currency of Love.
